Standard Stainless Steel 254SMO (UNS S31254) super austenitic pipes are widely deployed in severe industrial environments, including marine engineering, offshore oil & gas production, reverse osmosis desalination, pulp and paper bleaching plants, and flue gas desulfurization (FGD) scrubbers. The 6% Mo addition paired with high nitrogen content gives 254SMO exceptionally high mechanical strength alongside market-leading pitting resistance.
